Biography

A professional artist since 2008, Chey Hutchinson's uplifting, unique art has won numerous international awards, been featured in several specialty publications, and even graced the cover of a global magazine. Her beloved art resides in personal collections across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

After focusing on soft sculpture and ceramics for over 15 years, Chey switched gears in 2023 to complete an intensive yearlong training in oils, acrylics, and mixed media with the Milan Art Institute.

Now, most days you’ll find Chey creating her captivating art in her lakeside studio near Syracuse, New York. Her fresh, feel-good paintings remind people to choose lightness and positivity rather than sinking into the never-ending noise and negativity predominant in popular culture. As Chey says, "There's always a way to let in a wee bit more light!"
